ABOUT MICHELLE

Michelle Preble is the owner and founder of Om Shanti Yoga, LLC, where she brings heart, mindfulness, and movement together — both on land and water. Born in Florida and raised in Colorado Springs, Michelle moved to the San Luis Valley two years ago after falling in love with its quiet beauty, open skies, and countless lakes — the perfect environment for her paddleboard yoga offerings and nature-rooted lifestyle.
Michelle has been practicing yoga since high school and has spent the last 10 years teaching students of all ages and abilities. She is a highly trained and compassionate instructor, certified in Vinyasa, Adaptive Yoga for Amputees, Yoga for Youth, Children’s Mindfulness, and is a Certified Mindfulness Life Coach. She is also a Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga Instructor, with a strong emphasis on being trauma-informed certified, ensuring her classes are safe, inclusive, and supportive of each student’s unique journey. Michelle is currently working on adding a Divine Feminine Healing Certification and hopes to add this course to her offerings by Fall of 2025.
Michelle has worked closely with athletes, veterans, first responders, women, and youth, tailoring her offerings to support both physical and emotional well-being. She has also collaborated with several non-profits across Colorado, including Upward Bound, B-Bold Adaptive Living, Limbitless Adaptive Athletics, and The Peaceful Warriors, bringing yoga and mindfulness to their communities in accessible and meaningful ways.
She is passionate about working with schools, universities, and community groups to bring yoga and mindfulness to students, educators, and underserved populations. Michelle has helped studios and gyms foster welcoming environments and has partnered with organizations to expand access to healing practices throughout the state.
Her yoga journey deepened after the passing of her mother in 2015, a moment that inspired her to fully follow her purpose. Michelle believes yoga is more than stretching — it's a practice of self-discovery, healing, and connection that meets you exactly where you are.
When she’s not teaching, Michelle enjoys paddleboarding, walking in nature, spending time with her family, and savoring the little moments that make life meaningful.
She is here to support your journey — to help you breathe deeper, move with intention, and grow with grace.
May we all spread smiles and kindness everywhere we go.
Namaste.
