ABOUT MICHELLE




Michelle Preble is the founder and owner of Om Shanti Yoga & Wellness, a community-rooted wellness practice devoted to mindful movement, embodied healing, and inclusive access to self-regulation tools for all ages and abilities. With over 500 hours of Registered Yoga Teacher training, including Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga, Michelle weaves traditional yoga, nature-based experiences, and trauma-informed practices to support nervous-system regulation, confidence, and whole-person wellness. A deep love for water as a healing and regulating element shapes much of her work—inviting flow, presence, and resilience through both land-based and water-based practices.
Her approach is deeply informed by her background as a Life, Health & Wellness Coach, Trauma-Informed Mindfulness & Embodiment Guide, and Feminine Healing Practitioner, creating spaces that honor both strength and softness—structure and surrender. Beyond her professional training, Michelle is a mother of four, a role that has profoundly shaped her approach to wellness, leadership, and community care. Motherhood has strengthened her commitment to creating accessible, inclusive spaces where individuals and families can learn tools for emotional regulation, confidence, and connection—on the mat, on the water, and in everyday life.
Deeply connected to the Colorado Springs community, Michelle is passionate about giving back through the very tools that supported her own healing and growth. Her work extends beyond classes and workshops into community partnerships, youth programs, adaptive offerings, and nature-based experiences—many of which center around water as a place of grounding, play, and transformation. Michelle brings depth and adaptability to her teaching through specialized training in Children’s Yoga & Mindfulness, Adaptive Yoga for Amputees, and swim instruction, allowing her to serve diverse populations—from youth and families to adaptive athletes and community organizations—with care, safety, and intention. Rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection—to self, to others, and to nature—Michelle’s offerings invite individuals and partners alike to move with presence, lead with compassion, and return home to themselves.
